- Part time (.4 EFT) permanent position
Join Victoria’s largest independent child welfare organisation and become a vital part of a team that never gives up doing whatever it takes for kids. We believe everyone should have a good childhood, growing up in families and communities where they feel safe, nurtured and have hope for the future.
We are seeking an Early Childhood Development Project Worker to develop and enhance partnerships between Child FIRST, the Integrated Family Services alliance and early years’ services. This will involve targeted capacity building, developing strategic responses to address local barriers and challenges and providing case consultation on early childhood development.
We are looking for a passionate and community focused worker with a commitment to working with marginalised children, young people and families who come from diverse backgrounds and with complex needs. You will have an understanding of the issues confronting children and families involved in the child protection system and keep these at the forefront in your day-to-day involvement with marginalised young people. You will have great interpersonal skills and be well versed in working in collaboration with other agencies.
